I got laser hair removal performed for my armpits, and I am told just to shave the area rather than wax it because shaving still exposes the top of the hair where as waxing will remove the hair in the follicles.

You can get great laser hair removal without going to a dermatologist....I think it is better to go to a Electrologist trained to do laser. Laser can not do the total job and a Electrologist is a permanent hair removal specialist. That is their life's profession and they can take care of all the hair removal needs which a dermatologist can't. It is not a cash cow side line for the electrologist and you won't be treated with a laser when electrology is the service you should really have.

For me it is necessary to use skin whitening products to remove a horrible tan that I have had ever since childhood. Using sun protection has never been a top priority for me so I have recently implemented a new skin care regimen that will remove the sun damage and repair my skin. Using peels has gotten rid of 50% of the damage and I am also using the 10X Gel by Tonique which is rapidly removing the rest of the tan and using sunscreen whenever I go out. Doing these things has removed about 90% of my tan so far. I said all of this to demonstrate that not all people use skin whitening to whiten for me it is just a case of getting back to my natural coloring or the color that I was born with.

Do you think hydroquinone would be safe to use on a small area of pigmentation? I think it is an age spot.
